Two British winners are to share a 100m euros (£90m) EuroMillions jackpot. Can a lottery win bring happiness?

The amount is the largest lottery prize ever paid out in the UK. If either of the two winners is an individual and not a syndicate it will also be the UK's largest ever individual win.

Nine European countries take part in the weekly EuroMillions lottery.

Earlier this year a ticket bought in Spain won the lottery's record payout to date of 126m euros (£110m).

I would buy a house, and build a customised office for the company I work for (giving it to the MD free on the condition that every member of staff got a payrise).

I'd put the rest of the money into a savings account to live off the interest (breaking it into separate accounts if necessary to ensure that the interest wasn't ridiculously high).

I would buy my parents a holiday mansion in florida and open up a trust fund for my younger brother. As for myself well, I guess I'd go clothes shopping and buy a pet turtle.

I would decorate my flat really nicely while having my perfect house built, would probably invest in property overseas as well. My boyfriend would probably have a few cars to stick in our new garage! I would ensure my close family and his close family were secure (eg pay off my mom's mortgage, pay for my sister to go through uni). I would save a lot and live off the interest and would try to fund worthwhile projects. My best friend who lives in New Zealand would be on the first plane back over here as well.

With 90 million... i would finish my education... and then just live off that for the rest of my life Would probs still get a job or something but one where i could choose my hours

I would buy my mother whatever kind of house she wanted, wherever she wanted, have it decorated/filled with whatever kind of interior she wanted, and leave her with a large sum in the bank to ensure she lives the rest of her life comfortably.

Give out sums of money to each sector of my family & closest friends.
Take my "gurlfriends" on a big holiday & shopping in new york, somethign that they would stereotypically love.

Put a large sum in the bank to gain interest and ensure I have enough money to see me through the rest of my days, have uni debts paid off etc

And then travel

With 90 million I'd buy a £15 million house, a dozen supercars, set up my own business and probably organize a chairty of some sort too...become a philanthropist or something.

Why do i need more money than that, it's a huge amount, and i'd feel guilty at that with other people scrounging for enough money to eat.

I would buy a house in portugal and a house in the UK and travel alot around the world.
