A "red brick" university, the University of Liverpool dominates most of the city with its Victorian buildings, most of which are based in Brownlow Hill and Mount Pleasant. In fact, the iconic Victoria Building inspired the coining of the term "red brick university."

Spread over almost an acre, you'll be studying in one of the UK's liveliest cities, and will certainly never be short of things to do when you're not studying.

The university's courses in medicine and veterinary science are highly esteemed, and nine Nobel Prize winners have been based at the university at one point or another in their careers.
