  • Bournemouth University guide

A modern university, Bournemouth was founded in 1992 and offers students a trendy beachside experience on the south coast. Set across two campuses, one to the north of Bournemouth and one in the town's centre, it's particularly renowned for its media courses.

In addition to this, it offers courses in niche subjects such as forensic archaeology and food marketing. A vibrant place to study, the main student nightclub is set in Bournemouth's old fire station, and the New Forest and the Jurassic Coast are just next door, providing a serene break when you want to get away from it all.
