• Edge Hill University

Founded in 1885 Edge Hill University has since moved from its namesake's area of Liverpool and is now located just north of the city in Ormskirk. A green and sprawling campus, the university offers a great alternative to city studying.

Originally a teacher training college, the university still offers extensive education qualifications, but now also offers a selection of degrees and courses in health, the arts and sciences.

Edge Hill University has a student population of around 24,000 and growing, with a four-fold increase in applications over the last ten years. The campus itself is growing with an investment of more than £200 million offering new and exciting facilities. It's certainly an exciting time to be studying here.
