Kingston University guide
Kingston University was founded in 1899 as Kingston Technical Institute and at the time it offered courses in from chemistry, electronics and construction to dressmaking, nursing and clay modelling.
Since then it transformed into a polytechnic before achieving university status in 1992. Nowadays it offers a comprehensive selection of courses in subjects like the arts, business, engineering and healthcare.
Spread across four campuses in Kingston-upon-Thames, a short distance from central London, you'll be in pleasant green surroundings, and historic ones at that: Hampton Court is situated a short distance from the main campus.
