Buckinghamshire New University offers courses spanning the creative and cultural industries, management, IT and the public sector. Courses are both practical and academic with students benefitting from the university’s partnerships with numerous companies and organisations, including Imperial College, CISCO, Hewlett Packard, Sennheiser, Thames Valley Police and National Health Services.

Over 9,000 students are based at campuses in High Wycombe and Uxbridge, within easy access of London, Oxford, Reading and Watford.

As well as having its own music label (MC9) and exclusive sports scholarships, Bucks provides a unique package of benefits, the ‘Big Deal’, worth up to £1000 over 3 years to its students. This provides free access to events, textbooks, sports kit, 24 hour facilities access and free graduation gown hire.

Unsurprisingly, Bucks has been voted number one for student facilities spend by The Complete University Guide 2014 and the Students’ Union has, for the second year running, been voted in the top 25 Higher Education Institutes by the National Student Surveys (13/14).
