If it gets worse though, then you need to see them. As I said, it's unlikely to be cellulitis but if it is then the antibiotics required are not available OTC. This sort of thing isn't wasting their time!

It's possible, though most of the time these reactions are due to an allergic-type response rather than infection, it can be very hard to tell the difference. I would suggest you see your GP; they may end up giving you antibiotics anyway just to be on the safe side.

Hey, I got 1% hydrocortisone and anti-allergy tablets and having been using/taking them. However, the redness and swelling is still increasing. Is it possible I may have cellulitis?
