    Hi Asriel,

    Thanks for the info about your background. Would you consider health assistant positions as relevant work experience for the clinical route? Will the experience (although slightly irrelevant) give me a platform to apply for assistant psychologist jobs in the NHS? I know the assistant psychologist position is difficult to obtain. I only have experience working as a ward helper at South London Healthcare NHS trust.

    However, many people get onto clinical training with a wide variety of backgrounds, so its not the only way.

    I noticed that you're a clinical psychologist.

    I'd like to know the route you went through to get to this position, i.e. what work experience and degree qualifications did you have before taking up the DClinPsych course?
