Hey, I am in year 12 and want to do medicine. I am seriously thinking about putting Southampton for one of my options. I have spent hours looking at formus and all the info on the website, howevr I still have some questions. Oh and I would be applying for the BM5 course. For you what are the pros and cons of the uni, what is accomodation like, how long does it take from where you stay to where your lectures are, how big is it..I'm so shocked that they do not interview..it almost sounds to good to be true but I'm going to email admissions to confirm this. Also if they don't interview it makes you think what exactly they look at e.g. personal statement .....do you know if they have a specific threshold for UKCAT ...and if there are minimum GCSE, AS grades ,and what you need to be predicted.....also is it really competitive (since they don't interview) .....is there any pbl ot is it all integrated..what areyour general thoughts?.Would be great if you can answer any of these questions..if you don't know just tell me then I will just send an email to the admissions staff...Thank you in advance
