Haha I know, Wakka didn't do that much damage on my game anyway :/ I agree storylines are the best bit about games. I have so many favourites but my mind has gone blank at the moment! I've got Mass Effect, I bought it ages ago, but I haven't gotten around to playing it, there's so many games I've bought and not gone on yet. I don't think I'll be bored for a while! And yeah I know what you mean about cod, easy to to just chill on and chat instead of a serious game, I'd say guitar hero was my version of that :P but good to know you're not the typical cod gamer lol. I need to go on dead space 1 let alone 2. Soooo many games I need to get round to.

My gamertag is SamHmm (I think :/) but since I moved house I haven't been able to go on live because I'll need a wireless thingy and never really seen it as a priority to buy unless it was on sale lol.
  2. LETS BLITZ! (as in blitzball from ffX)- one of my favourites too! though why throwing a beachball at an enemy is seen as an effective combat tactic i have no idea

yeh basically i used to play quite alot of wrpgs and story-driven games (thats the main reason i play games, for the storylines) and my fav is probably mass effect 1 or hl2. But recently as i have spent more time working, i essentially play cod alot, not that i enjoy it that much but its just its easy for me and my mates to play together and chat y'know? but im not a typical laddish cod gamer if you were worried.
i just blew my last 40 pounds on dead space 2 which is great.
got xbox live? whats ur gamertag?

Lol yeah I play xbox. I haven't been on it much recently even though I haven't had anything to do for some reason. Last thing I played was Fallout New Vegas...not as good as the third but still worth a play if you haven't been on it. My favourite game of all time was on PS2, Final Fantasy X <3 love it haha. What do you play? Are you a cod type of guy or...? Also I'm Sam
  4. clearing will be very tough this year though so i dunno....
wait you play xbox!? ( i know this is a really sad thing to say, but ive never known a girl who plays video games what sort of games?

Yeah you might be pleasantly surprised anyway. Good luck with them! And yeah I forgot you'll have to worry about fees, that's not a good thought. Would you go through clearing? I know all too well what it's like spending a year doing nothing lol.

Yeah, my problem is I get invited but I just never really want to go anymore :/ . I agree I would much rather stay in playing xbox lol. It is good to know I'm not the only one.
  6. AAA will be hard, i always worry i am not doing enough work. to not get into uni would cost me 6000+ quid a year, as well as a wasted year doin f all.
I know what you mean about parties. Sometimes i feel really depressed for not being invited, but then i realise, i probably would not enjoy clubbing, it just aint my forte. My friends and I would admittidly prefer to play xbox instead. Besides i hate damn dance music and that RnB crap. Musical eltism ftw!
Guess its good to know someone else feels the same isnt it?

Ah I see. Sorry to hear about Warwick and Oxford, I got rejected from Warwick both times now :/ Ahh Shackleton looked nice but I couldn't afford it. My first choices are Maple Bank and Tennis Courts, and I'm not too bothered which one I get. Are you confident you will get AAA?

And as for what I'm interested in, I don't really know. Even though I'm not a party goer, I'm not a loner or an anti-social freak haha, and I even like a party now and again with friends, just not going round clubs every single night, feeling sick the next day and blowing all my money away! Nothing like a good night in with people though.
  8. yeah i took your advice i chose 'quiet' at shackleton. i got rejected from oxford and warwick, so i have to choose between York and Birm (both AAA), but probably leaning towards brum unless visit day is really poor. (york was good but seemed a bit 'yuppieish' if you know what i mean) Aberdeen is insurance. my visits on the 30th so i wont see you there.

    what accomadation did you choose?
ps, if you're not a partygoer than what are you interested in?

ha yeah I know what you mean about the family thing, mine thought it was my fault just because when they were younger they were stereotypical. Oh well!

None this spring, I'm going to Sheffield's department open day next week, then Birmingham's the week after. Then I'll make a decision! Where are you leaning on going to? Also, have you applied for Birm accom yet?
  10. i know the feeling, and even when you get talking its really awkward cause they're into completely different stuff, so then your family think your wierd just cause you dont match the typical teen image. i hate that. Ah well its good to know im not alone

so you goin to any of the visits this Spring?
