Hehe.... I am doing Food. Which one are you doing?

The revision is going OK. I am doing whole day revision tomorrow. Right now, I am procastinating on TSR. I did a mock and it was OK, I got a B but still not good enough if I want an A. I think Food as a topic is a common sense. You can bring in lots of things from UNIT 3 into it, that's probably why I don't find it too hard to do.

Abotu the structure of report. I got told to have headings and subheadings for each topic that I want to discuss. So mine is like this:

Introduction - Roughly 3/4 - 1 page long.

Methodology - Create a table of case studies to be used using these headings >> Location, Scale, Reasons for using, Sources and Veracity (Bias/Factual etc.)

My teacher said that the examiners feedback last year were that they really like the methology table. So that might be useful.

Sorry if I am telling you what you already know. This is kind of helping me to revise in a way.

Hey, hows the revision going for Unit 4 geog on Friday?
I'm so scared did a practice essay for my teacher and she said it's rubbish haven't structured it like a report...let's revise together again! lol

I guess Oxford Brookes and Sheffield Hallam give you the same offer then, that's why you choose SH and have no insurance. I was really worried that this was going to happen to me. but luckily, it didn't. I put Reading down as my insurance but to be honest, i never visitted the uni so i dont knwo if i am even going to like it. I will jsut try get into Essex.!

I cannot imagine my reaction if I don't make the grade for my firm uni. I am probably going to be crying really badly.

I don't really like English teachers at my school, to be honest. They are annoying and always overdramatic about stuffs I wrote. XD I think I will do what you say but give it to my Geoggers teachers instead.

I got A in the Unit1, B (borderline B/C) in Unit 2 and a C (borderline C/D) in Unit 3.

Yep, you see the pattern, the grade is going down and down. I am retaking this module just in case my last module turn out to be D (borderline D/E) :P

I have to admit though that I probably have not put enoguh work in. Unlike other subjects that I revise a lot for the exams. Just have to try harder. :P

What grades did you get in your other modules?

Yeah essay writing - just keep it simple. Do about two practice essays and give them in to your teacher, alternatively, an English teacher may be able to help? lol

What I really am worried is the structure of my report. I am very crap at writing report/essays. I mean, I can do it better than a lot of people but I cannot write a perfect essays or report. I am very scared. I think that's why my results in the last two Georgers exams are not as good as I wanted them to be.

Why Edexcel have to put a lot of pressure in the exams - time limit, how much we got to write?

Many people failed Psycology. I don't know why. A lot of students blame the teachers because, well to be honest, they are rather crap teachers for Psycology. I used to want to take Psycology at A-level but I looked at the textbook and it's too hard for me. It has all the biology stuffs as well, scary! (I am really not a fan of science)

Psychology is easy, dunno why so many people find it hard.
And it's just one re-sit, no biggie!
Unit 4 revision - we haven't completed the whole course, so I can't start revising. When the time comes nearer we should all share tips.
My friend gave me all her Unit 4 notes :P

Ahh that sucks.

A lot of people in my college fin Psycology hard. I just think the subjects is generally compelx. :P Many are retaking the exams too but I odn't think any of us will be reatking the whole A -level, ti's going ot be a lot of work.

I jsut handed in my resit form today. I really don't want to resit but then I really want an A!

How are you getting on with Unit 4 revision for Geography? I don't really know what this exam is about to be honest. It is writing a report and then what? I don't get it at all.
