I've met people from online (never TSR before though), and it's never gone haywire. But the possibility is always there. One person I met from online was going through someone previously spreading lies about him. Not good!

ummm... well we met on tsr, then dated in real life.. then it turned abusive.. I left them..they spread a whole load of crap about me to people on here.. then I never heard from them again..

says a lot for meeting someone online, eh?

ha! Ive had many many days where ive said the same - less time arguing about public toilets/equal marriage/trans stuff - and more time actually living life as a trans/LGBT person
So so so so so so busy right now though.. stupidly large amount of stuff to do.. barely time to check tsr (my little secret obsession.. or rather, now my pictures and intimate details are on here.. not so secret )

My brain is just full of.. wtf... how can he be so difficult to reach! He's got a hypothesis in his head, wriggles his way out of having to provide evidence, then ridicules evidence against him (even if it's from reputable scientists published in a journal). LAKWjdLAWJ

*sigh*. I guess tomorrow I will need to argue less and do uni work more.

Sounds very frustraiting.. maybe better finding a way to just leave it/ignore it?

So far, he has appealed to his authority of having a doctorate (then refused to say what it was about - one can assume that it was irrelevant to the topic at hand), repeatedly stated claims (generally that transsexuality is socially caused) without evidence, ignored evidence offered, ridiculed claims by reputable scientists without any evidence or reasoning against them, attacked strawmen rather than arguments...
