Hello

Haven't really talked to you properly since you got back. How was the trip?
-
I found some second hand copies on amazon
It looks a bit too hard for me at the minute, a review says it used to be an A level textbook
I shall ask in the German soc thread though, thanks
-
Oh God O.o asking the wrong person here!
I like Russon's "Advanced German Course", but it was published in like the 50s and it's very dry, only for the hardcore freaks
It might be out of print now...what I'd suggest is going to the German Learners' Society and asking there. I don't have masses to talk about there because they all tend to spend their time discussing vocab books (I refuse) or moaning about the grammar, which for me is like a betrayal
But they're all nice, and it's a great place to practise
-
Hey, sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you could recommend a good book for learning German grammar?
Preferably with lots of practice exercises
-
6-9th (won't be there the evening of the 9th though)
-
hello
what are your interview dates!? Meet up?
-
I work very hard
No classical subjects are taught in my school so I had to do them on my own time
That's what I tell myself anyway, I think I might have masochistic tendencies
and don't worry, I've been out of training for almost a year
