what course have you finished?
Ohhhhhh, good luck! What are you applying to?
Yeah I'm a pretty good speaker, too. However, when I was away at Uni I really lost my swahili skills! I guess I forget the words I don't use as often and it can sometimes be hard to speak something in Swahili without adding in an English work.
Go rice and Beans!!!
yeah im applying to Uni in 2012. can't wait.
yes i can speak. but sometimes i find that i have to ask what some words mean, or i just assume what i means. I am a pretty good speaker i think.
How old are you; I'm assuming 17/18? So you're applying to Uni this year?
I'm not sure, I thought he was doing Medicine or something! I guess it must be a lengthy course if he isn't finished yet. Yeah Nigerians have spread, they're all over on here too...but good to see some Tanzanian people coming on too. In 50 years we will take over the UK with our rice and beans. Can you speak swahili?
oh i am so sorry about your father
we are doing A2s now hahaha we have done a chemistry assessment already :/
hes doing computer business, or something like that.
they tend to be quite big dont they? =D
nigerians are everywhere though, like even here where its boring
Ahh, we had none of that stuff, we just went in everyday, they told us they're preparing us for A2 level!
My course was three years...depends what your brother is doing I guess
My dad was here but he passed away about 2 years ago, my lovely mum is here though, but visits Tanzania quite a bit! My extended family in Tanzania is just very big, I have about 80 cousins, and all those cousins have kids...and those kids have kids
ohh trust me it does. But trips here and there, summer schools and open days make it less hard core if you know what i mean?
oh my brother is at UNI but hes like 5 years older.was your course short?
i have cousins and such, and my precious lovely mom who i love very much works there. my dad works here, maybe thats why ive been there often.
both your parents are here?
Yeah I have a lot of extended family there, most of who I don't know! I'm 21, I've just finished my last year at University so...I've got plenty of free time right now I remember when I finished my AS levels and we still hard to go in...sucks big time, doesn't it?
13 years?? do you have anyone there? like family or something.
i think ill be going after school closes.Im tired!!!I want holiday already. we have finished AS exams but we still have to go to school!!! bugger
what level are you on?
Quite a lot in Coventry, Milton Keynes, Newcastle...we're spreading! I'd rather be in Wales though, away from all the Tanzanians , I visited Swansea a year ago...best city ever. I haven't been to Tanzania for 13 years, hopefully going in a few weeks, and if not then definitely sometime next year!
