Ohhhhhh, good luck! What are you applying to?

Yeah I'm a pretty good speaker, too. However, when I was away at Uni I really lost my swahili skills! I guess I forget the words I don't use as often and it can sometimes be hard to speak something in Swahili without adding in an English work. :bah:

yeah im applying to Uni in 2012. can't wait. :excited:

yes i can speak. but sometimes i find that i have to ask what some words mean, or i just assume what i means. I am a pretty good speaker i think.

    Thanks

How old are you; I'm assuming 17/18? So you're applying to Uni this year?

I'm not sure, I thought he was doing Medicine or something! I guess it must be a lengthy course if he isn't finished yet. Yeah Nigerians have spread, they're all over on here too...but good to see some Tanzanian people coming on too. In 50 years we will take over the UK with our rice and beans. :dumbells: Can you speak swahili?

Ahh, we had none of that stuff, we just went in everyday, they told us they're preparing us for A2 level!

My course was three years...depends what your brother is doing I guess

My dad was here but he passed away about 2 years ago, my lovely mum is here though, but visits Tanzania quite a bit! My extended family in Tanzania is just very big, I have about 80 cousins, and all those cousins have kids...and those kids have kids :afraid:

i have cousins and such, and my precious lovely mom who i love very much works there. my dad works here, maybe thats why ive been there often.

Quite a lot in Coventry, Milton Keynes, Newcastle...we're spreading! I'd rather be in Wales though, away from all the Tanzanians :sly:, I visited Swansea a year ago...best city ever. :adore: I haven't been to Tanzania for 13 years, hopefully going in a few weeks, and if not then definitely sometime next year!
