Hey

It is hard work to do an Oxford Law degree and you may well end up doing a similar number of hours in all but you have much more freedom about when and how you study. There are lectures (optional but useful) and tutorials (compulsory) and then it's independent study for the rest of it. You can see the lecture list on the Oxford Law website - in the first two terms you study Roman, Constitutional and Criminal law so if you look at those on the list you'll see the Faculty schedule.
You'd be doing three tutorials a fortnight with an essay of about 1,500 words for each.
The thing is that if you genuinely love the subject it's great fun
Let me know if you have any more questions! I was at Worcester and have now graduated. -
Hey there,
My name is Bronagh and I am applying to Oxford, St Anne’s, for law this year. I am a gap year student and was hoping you could tell me what it’s all like. I applied for medicine last year and that is what I am currently studying in my local University. I really want to study law and more importantly want to study it at oxford. I was wondering what college you go to and if there is any advice you could offer. I was also wondering what your typically week involves. I am in Uni 9-5 most days which is a nightmare lol
Thanks for any help/advice
Bronagh
