It can indeed be a nerve wracking experience. I had plans to apply to quite a few places for the past few months but eventually, I gave up. Mostly because I realised I didn't want it (college in the US) as bad as I thought I did. As it stands, today, I'm only applying to programs in Germany, taught fully or partially in English.

hey thanks for asking; I'm still busy with lowering the number of applications I'll make to a reasonable #, meeting deadlines & tryin to stay sane simultaneously. Smolny remains silent sadly, I may just give em a call one of these days and hope someone there speaks english
