Hi, Just wanted to say I got rejected from Sheffield too
im absolutely gutted because it was my first choice and I genuinely thought I would get in, they did manage to view my portfolio though,when I rang up for feedback they said that was why they rejected me and they wouldnt tell me anymore. I think i sent the wrong sort of stuff in my portfolio. I dont think I sent enough pencil sketches, I sent too many textile pieces and Computer Aided Design work. It seem strange they rejected you after requesting a portfolio, I was lead to believe they asked all candidates for a portfolio, have you rung up to ask for feedback? I had a friend who got a rejection from somewhere else and when she rang up for feedback they said they made a mistake and gave her an offer! so it just shows mistakes do happen....
