    Hi there,

Firstly thanks for your reply! Yes, in a way I am a little unsure about the KPMG scheme as I feel I will miss so much that I could possibly get out of university life. I am hoping to apply for the E&Y scheme too, can I ask where else you applied to and how you structured your personal statement also?

What was the admissions process for either E&Y or KPMG like, in terms of interview etc?

    Thanks once again.

    Thankyou!

Erm, the application process is very long  What do you want to know about it?

And yes I did apply for the KPMG scheme, however I was unsuccessful - I got through to the partner presentation/assessment day though In the end I wasn't sure whether I wanted to do it or not, it's a lot more employment-based than I first thought when I applied.

And yes, you are paid a salary for placements on the EY degree - the placements are three years in your second and fourth years, and the entire third year. From what I hear, the salaries aren't vastly dissimilar from graduate salaries, but if you apply to an office far from home/Lancaster, you'll have to find a place to live (They do however cover the cost of your accommodation in Lancaster for the 3 month placements though)

Are you thinking of applying to the two schemes?

    Hi there,

Congratulations on getting on the E&Y Degree! What is the application process like? Are you paid a salary for placements? Also did you apply for the KPMG scheme?

Thanks and best of luck with Uni!
