I only got my student finance form submit today! Had a nightmare figuring out what was meant to get done regarding our household income since it goes off the year 2010-2011 and ours has dropped like a stone since then :\ on the plus side, it might mean my first ever bursary if we can use this last year's details if not, I'm pretty much working full time right now so I'll have the money either way, even if the hours are horrific :\

Mac Mini actually, keeping it cheap because I do't need the additional power. I'm hoping to get about £400/£450 for my MacBook Pro so it won't cost me very much extra to get the entry level Mini, freeing up the rest of my cash for a pair of 1080p displays, some aftermarket RAM and more audio goodies. I've got my desk all planned out in my head, it's going to be glorious

Haha I'm not an app heavy user anymore, I'm getting it for media consumption and web browsing on the go/at uni now that I'm moving to a desktop setup and selling my laptop. Getting the Nexus 7 does that and stops me being tempted by an iPad at over double the price

Damn lol. The nexus doesnt look too bad tbh, the only issue I have with it is the amount of tablet optimised apps in the google store :s

I might buy it in July, who knows.
(no point in saving up for an iPad, it costs an arm and a leg )

I wouldn't expect so, they're not really in competition given the differences in size and price, and appealing to the lower end of the market has never been Apple's thing.
