Its not opening.. anyway. Yeah that's a doozie! they're basically the same course and you can't put them both in. But you haven't heard anything back yet right? I'd count that as a plus. I've always told ppl, that they can pick up Warwick if they just wanna go and live abroad for a year and have the money to splurge. Everyone knows that that school takes just about everyone in. I didn't bother applying. If you're dedicated to what you wanna do, worst comes to worst you take a year off and work on your profile. I did.

shouldn't the 5 papers of actuarial science make up for it? but yeah I told you, lacking a math background is a big no-no for an MSc in finance for any college. I'm not on search.. so you'll have to give em your name.

hey thnks a lot for the analysis. I have actually completed Chartered Accountancy (highest qualification for Accounts) with an All India Rank of 29, I have done my B.com from Sydenham College, Mumbai with 88%, I have cleared 5 papers of Actuarial Science(maths relates course), I got 100 % marks in Maths in 12th. my GMAT was 710. But I think ill not get into coz I got rejections from Warwick n Manchester. They need a quant portion in ur undergrad degree. So thts why I m not expecting a positive reply. :-( But I wish i get into...whts ur fb ID? I am not able to search u ther...

Well honestly the weak quant part will hamper your application. But u need to give me a better picture of your profile. LSE looks at a lot of things, including which college you from. They even say so on their website. Also stuff like where you've done your internships counts a lot. I have a heavy quant background myself and the fact that I graduated with St.Xavier's most coveted combination (double major in Economics and Statistics with a minor in Mathematics) with honors added a lot to my application. I did my internship at HSBC and extra curricular wise I played the piano, that's it really. Also my honors program at Xavier's was a special credit program that we do, where we undertake 7 courses including programming in C++ and Java. In high school I was in the Science stream with Computers as my optional subject. I think that my programming background was strong as well added a lot. Again I can't really comment on your chances cuz I need a complete profile but best of luck with your application! You can add me on facebook if you like.
