tried to post in your trig thread but it kept crashing and showing me errors so here's what I was gonna say there:
From what I am understanding, after you have the 2 lines, you can make a triangle and you'll have lengths for each of the sides. then you can use soh-cah-toa (sin=opposite/hypotenuse, cos=adjacent/hypotenuse, tan=opposite/adjacent) to figure out the sin/cos/tan of the angle you're trying to find, then just simply inverse the function. but that's with the calculator
without calculator you could use the trig identities:
