My messages-
Yes, 6!! 5 are resits plus ECON3
Eeee, the only thing getting me through them is the thought of next September! Yeah I am a bit nervous... but Manchester/Sheffield is only a train ride home. I'm worried about not making friends and I've heard some horror stories about halls and sharing bathrooms and things! Still, I guess its all part of the student life
Really excited about never having to do English Lit again - its the bane of my life! Analysing Shakespeare...
Thank you! I was so surprised they came so quick! I got them all within 2 weeks of sending my application off
What course do you want to apply for? Sheffield and Manchester are amazing Unis and cities! It'll be so hard chosing a firm! Haha, can't believe its been a year since I was in your shoes! Yes, get all your Open Days in! And prospectuses! Free post
Fingers crossed for us both! Hey ho, there's always June! (but you don't want to be resiting like me!) Good luck! Let me know how everything goes xx -
Oh noooo, six exams!? Can't believe you've got so much going on at the same time! Hopefully you'll ace them though
bet you can't wait till September, are you a little nervous about moving out and things?
Aw congratulations on all your offers! I want to apply to Sheffield and Manchester next year
Yeah you have a while to choose your uni, I can't wait to go and see some on open days!
I have three exams next week.. So nervous.
good luck for yours though xx

Hi

A2s are hard, I feel so drained even though its only my first day back after Christmas!! I found the jump from AS to A2 hard at the beginning, but now it isn't so bad. Lots of work though! I have 6 exams starting next week plus EPQ and English Lit. coursework... I just wish this year was fast-forwarded until September!
Yeah I've got all my offers - Manchester for BA Econ and BA Modern History with Econ, Leeds - BA History and Econ, Sheffield for BA Econ and Hull for History with Econ. Think I will firm Manchester or Sheffield for Econ and insure Modern History with Econ. I'm visiting all the Unis again in Feb./March for Applicant Days to make my mind up! But I don't have to make a decision until May I think
How's ASs going? Any modules in January? xx -
Hey how you doing? How's your A2s going? Finding them much harder than AS? What unis have you applied to and have you received any offers yet? xxx
-
Aw no worries! Wow - you did amazing! Well done, clever you! You did great - definitely med. standard, isn't it? A couple of my friends just sat their UKCAT exams and got similar GCSE results (I think!).
Haha, yeah I'm dropping Maths too now
I can't take it either! I bombed my S1 and ended up with a C overall! Aaaaah, planning on resitting though! Other than that, I got three Bs in English Lit, History and Econ... Annoyed as most of them were only a couple of marks off an A, but hey ho!
Wow! Good luck for next year! I, too, have changed my mind, planning to apply for History or a blend of History and Economics :P Cannot believe I'm starting UCAS apps.! Its crazy! xx -
Omg you're so sweet for even remembering! Smiling like mad right now, haha. Wasn't bad - 5A*, 4A, 2B. The B being in maths and statistics lol .. I'm deffo not taking maths A level. I really can't take it anymore.. The last couple of months of GCSE maths was sooo painful! Haha. But that's ok, I'm considering medicine now as it seems very interesting. Idk though, my grades might hold me back as I didn't do as brilliantly as the usual medical student would.
How were your AS results!? Which was like weeks ago
sorry! xxx
-
