Oh, I wasn't a strict tomboy, but that's what a lot of people considered me as, just because I played a gameboy and preferred baggy jeans to skirts or normal jeans Yes! I do have Pokemon cards, they're in my wardrobe. I bought a big box of them at a school fair and used to collect them too

The house really belongs to my dad's side of the family, so it's not just ours. I love it, but there is a risk of becoming a bit bored. We used to come up almost every holiday but over the last few years it's turned into Easter break or October. Sometimes we do come up in Summer though

That's such a long way away! My grandparents live in Larbert (closeish to Stirling, if you know where that is in Scotland ) My other Gran lives down the road from me.

Interesting point of view on the Harry Potter books! I've never thought about that. Perhaps if/when I read them again I'll see where you're coming from.

Really really I was watching a youtube video, and someone had posted a link to a collection of online sheet music or links to it. From what I can tell (or play very very badly) it's accurate!

Oh yeah, rap. I don't like that either :L

Our study leave begins... May.. the something, I don't remember the date :L might be the 8th, my first exam is the 9th..My last exam is May 28th, and I think you can get a leaver's form early June. However, I'm not allowed to leave because I'm going on a final school trip to Hadrian's Wall, and we have to be part of the school to be insured  so I can't officially leave school until about the 20th of June anyway.

You got free lessons? Wow! In Scotland, we only get free lessons if we take an SQA Music course, i.e Standard Grade/Higher/Advanced Higher Music. Oh, at least you got a guitar out of it! My brother has one (though he doesn't play) but I erm, snapped a string. It's not in tune anyway, so no biggie...

I'd probably travel. I have a cousin out in Australia, where I've always wanted to visit, along with New Zealand, Italy and Canada. Of course, I might just end up spending a year looking for a job!
I think I'd like to work in a hospital or forensics lab. Or even research, but then research can be a very long process. I don't really know any particulars yet

I'm sure there must be more careers for those with a law degree, no? But that would be cool to move abroad, despite the downside of more exams! But at least you'd have the basis to learn about foreign laws and skills that go with it

My, that was a long post

(P.S Did you know your posts are showing up on your page and not mine? I can't tell whether it's an accident or if there's something wrong with my account! )

I know a kind of simpler version of Comptine d'un autre ete by Yann Tiersen for the Amelie soundtrack, and Love Song by Sara Bareilles.. okay, so really I only know one and a half. :L
I have sheet music for River Flows In You and Nuvole Bianche, but it's taking a long time to learn them, I can only play the first few bars of both Thanks for the tip about Avril Lavigne though!

Gosh, I'm into a whole lot of music. Songs from all genres, except dubstep and heavy metal. I can't stand that stuff! I mostly like rock/pop/indie or alternative.. I know that covers quite a lot I like classical too though. ....and soundtrack

I should have time.. well, not technically but it is possible :L See, the next ABRSM exams are in June, which is when I should have left school by, but I can still take the exam, it's just considered as being done privately.

    :gasp: You sold it?? Whhyyyy?!
There used to be 5 people in my year at Primary school and we all got taught together (violin) but there's only two left of them now!

Planning to do after uni? Goodness, I don't know I think I would like to take a year out of doing anything, like a gap year but after uni, though whether I'll have the money to do that or not.. we'll see. Job-wise, I'm still not sure if I'll graduate with Forensic Biology. I'll hopefully be in a lab somewhere though
    What about you?

That's not too odd! I used to be a bit of a tomboy, I'd hang around with all the guys playing Pokemon on our gameboys
For Buffy, we would allocate characters and just make up scenarios and pretend to fight demons

I don't have any plans, my family and I will be travelling home from our holiday house in the west of Scotland, probably popping in on my grandparents as we go

I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter, and yes, I do quite like theme parks too

I know a couple of songs on piano, but I find the whole two-handed thing incredibly hard! I need to train my mind to let my hands do two different things
Really I've been playing for fun these past years too I figured I should take the opportunity to do another grade before I leave school and viola lessons behind.. That's a sad thought.

Yes, Viola's have a deeper sound.. At least, they go lower than a violin, but not as high, and the sound is similar to the tone of a cello rather than a violin

As I said, you're on your own

But then, If I do get a PS3 game, it'll distract me from my studies, and we can't have that! :erm:

Aww, that's sweet I don't think my friends and I ever played a game where we picked names. I remember playing Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Dragons when it was cold cause we could pretend we were breathing fire

Ah! Okay, I'll send you the link in a PM
Yeah, Garnett is £84 a week. It would be a pretty big saving.. £23 saved equals one PS3 game for me

Thankyou! Why did you want to be called that?

    This is what you said!
I play the violin too! (And the piano and guitar). Why did you change to the viola? What grades have you done?

Is the gremlin movie a scary one at all? (I'm not a massive fan of scary films, total scaredy cat).

A portable toothbrush on a shoe? That'd be pretty sneaky and gross, don't you think? :P But you could always accompany me with a portable shoe toothbrush.

And this is what I'm saying
Aww! I so wish I learned piano It's never too late though! Maybe I'll teach myself.
I sat ABRSM Grade 5 Viola 3ish years ago and decided to take a break from gradings. But I did Grade 5 Theory in November and intend to do Grade 6 before Summer I regret not just carrying on with grades actually, but nevermind. What about you?
I don't remember why I switched... My teacher asked me if I would be interested because there were only 3 viola players in the school at the time. And I thought "Why not?", so I switched I like it a lot, though I haven't properly played violin in years because of it. Plus, I think I might actually the sound of it better...

Ew, no, I'm not attaching my toothbrush to my shoe, you're on your own

I suppose that is actually not too bad to pay for a week :P I think Garnett hall is under £90 though, so that's not too bad. But I mean, £107 is great for an ensuite!
Oh.. I'm unphotogenic too :P Well, if you go on your profile and copy and then paste the link to me, I can add you. I have weird settings on my fb so I don't think you can just search me up
    >.<

Jennifer! I genuinely love that name. I always wanted to be called Jennifer.

It's £107 a week but it's not the worst price I've seen for an ensuite! Actually, I read a thread on here with people complaining that ensuites were £88 in 2006 or something like that :L I wish they were still that price!
I suppose so! Just please be aware that I'm incredibly unphotogenic! Some of my photos on there are really stupid looking. Actually, how does one add someone from afar?
Oh, first, my name is Jennifer Rae, just, y'know.. in case you were wondering
