York is so pretty, the buildings are a bit old though. There was a fire in one of them back in the beginning of the year too, haha. A bad hair style can be so distracting sometimes, and when it's all you can focus on it's hard not to laugh! The weather in Britain is so unpredictable though. It's quite depressing really. -.-

Sorted! And remember, I'll be there too so it will be fabulous! Motivation is non existent in my world right now.

Yeah I went to Nottingham on friday, the campus was gorgeous and it was a nice sunny day. I was more impressed by the scenery and buildings than the actual teaching though haha! Well I just found one of the guys abit boring (I couldn't stop thinking to myself that he badly needed a haircut!) If it had been a rainy day, I may not of been impressed as much. It's funny how the weather on open days influences your opinion of the university quite abit lol.

York it is then, I'll try and speak to you soon again, gonna come off now (after promising myself I'd be asleep by 10pm, I lack in self motivation lol ).

I'm really obsessed with the show! :') Nothing helped me when it came to Physics so revising was a battle, haha.

Being a Welsh girl, clearly you should take my advice. But in all honesty, it's Chemistry department is amazing, and I'll be there come October so it will be even better! When I went on an open day in October last year, it was a lovely day, but that was probably a one off, haha.

I should've figured out your love for biology just by your name haha! I like certain parts of biology, and some of the shows like house are pretty good (I keep on listening to teardrop by massive attack if I need some biology motivation lol ).

Alright I guess I'll apply to york, because a welsh girl *on a* student website told me so haha , Maybe I might see you there in just over a years time, who knows. I saw this youtube video about undergraduate life at York, and they happened to film it all in the summer lol. The top comment was something like 'why haven't you included footage from september to april? You know, when it's dark, gloomy, muddy and depressing?' haha.

Still, its chemistry department is worth applying to I guess

    * I should read my messages before posting lol

Yeah I did. I applied to Cardiff, York, UEA, Lancaster and UWE. York is my firm and Cardiff is my insurance. Apply to York! Because you do all the sciences and Maths, York are most likely to give you an offer of ABB. Southampton is a nice place, I'm told, so it might be worth considering.

I love Biology! I am interested in going into medical research though so I'd probably enjoy it more, haha.

You've just finished your A2 *exams not results :P *right lol? If so what ones did you apply to?

Well I'm applying for (with a VERY minimal chance) Oxford, (a slightly better chance but still will need abit of luck) Durham, Nottingham, and any other two good ones from York/Bristol/Southampton/Warwick. Warwick is the only AAB one so I may put that one down if I'm not too sure. I hear southampton is pretty good, but I'm slightly put off it because my brother went to southampton solent uni, and I'd rather have a different town/city to call my own if you know what I mean haha

I also study the three sciences and maths, having doubts about biology though due it being very tedious. Still, it provides a good backup for uni's not requiring maths.

My teacher likes to put grades lower than what he expects of you to make you work harder. I don't think he realises that it might actually cost you an offer from a university though. :L

If you have genuine reasons for not hitting your predicted A grade, I'm sure universities will understand. Just email them or get the school to do it and you should be fine. If you need to convince your teachers, bribing them should work.

Where are you applying for Chemistry? I'm only curious because I've applied for Chemistry too.

I just stumbled across your profile and was quite interested in your A2 predicted results.

Howcome if you came out with an A for AS maths, were you predicted a B for A2? I'm abit worried about my predicted grade, as I was fairly certain to get an A for AS maths and need it for a few of the chemistry courses I am applying for. Due to a few reasons, I may come out with a B and will be doing two maths papers resists. (long story short I must convince my teacher to predict me an A).
