Yeah, inshallah our results are what we hoped for. I just got my letter for the medicine open day, but I don't think I want to go now, as I think they'll not take me serious with my grades LOL, also when I say "I'm thinking about doing medicine- I'm not entirely sure yet" they'll flip their ship and go all crackhead on me. I might just go to the normal open day. I don't think I'm going to other open days at the unis, just because I can't be bothered really.

Also, how are your exams going?

Ohh okay, i was just trying to see how would be there when i go. I'm going on the 1st June - Very excited.
Ohh, i see. Well Insha'Allah this August & next August when you got to collect your results - you'll have something to celebrate! And then you'll have a wide range of options to choose from whether that be Medicine or not. Its all about where your heart is at, if your hearts in medicine then i'd advise you not to give up! Somehow you will get there Also i was speaking to the head of sixth form & apparently Leeds let you in to their medical school with lower grades provided you meet there criteria. Something about coming from a poor/ not as good secondary school - which yes we have!
I will get clarification about this after the exams & will let you know.

Me and quite a few of the boys are going on the 5th of July. Though I'm not even sure I'm going to apply for medicine, so I'm sort of just tagging along. LOL. I'm also going to book the open day in sheffield just generally, I think.
