Ah right, okay. It sounds like something that must've been a real mind**** for you.

Exactly, I could make a living off it!

No, not really, it's quite confusing, I didn't really realise to be honest. It's like finding out that someone say, speaks a lot, yet you don't notice it. Then someone tells you that that person speaks a lot, and it's only then you tend to realise it.

Nice to see you've got a contingency plan. Sue everyone for ableism, fullproof.

So people just noticed you couldn't easily tell the difference between certain colours when you were a kid, and that's how you ended up getting taken to a doctor for diagnosis?

Not really, but when I was in primary school my teacher used to constantly have a go at me for colouring things in incorrectly. You don't notice it until you're told to be quite honest. Imagine another colour, and then try to imagine what that colour is called, and what it looks like? Imagine people keep telling you that that is a certain colour - let's call it Ecosse (like your name ) - is as such, and then they point at something. You look at it and see red, it looks no different at a first glance until after about 5 seconds you see the difference. That's what it's like for me.

What's really annoying is when people go "WHAT COLOUR IS THIS?!" when you tell them you're colourblind.. It's the colour that I've been brought up to see it as!! Otherwise it's not too bad, although I can't become a pilot (I had a test at City University London before I could take my Night PPL, turned out I was on the threshold, and it would be too difficult for me to get a job as a pilot to do the PPL. That's why I know this much, plus my cousin is a Neuroscience doctorate..) or work in the fire service. Beyond that it's fine, plus if I ever do become a massive dickhead and run low on money, I can sue the FAA for discrimination. Can't see myself stooping that low anytime soon.
