I was surprised they didn't have more accommodation to show us! Yes I was really worried about that too! But I think because a lot of people will be worried about it, everyone will make more of an effort to be social if that make sense. I'm sure everyone will be in eachother's rooms and stuff :) the idea of having everything in your own flat seems cool though. Everyone is next to eachother anyway :)

The University is great.

They do some pretty awesome food (the chicken subs and hot chocolates in the Binks building are to die for!!), the staff are really helpful, lectures are relaxed and fun and the city is awesome. Plenty to do, some historical things to look at, and of course there is the zoo as well. About five minutes driving from the Uni to the zoo I think. Good bus links to Liverpool, Nantwich, Wales and so on.

From friends I've heard good reviews about Rosies for nightlife. As for accommodation, I live at home so I can't help you :P I do know that they're recently purchased a nearby Travel Lodge to convert into accommodation, so that'll be pretty neat once opened.

Hi everyone,

We will be living in an 8 bed house next year (September 2013 on-wards) located on Newry Park which is 5 minutes from the main university campus and 10 minutes from Kingsway buildings.

We are looking for two people to fill the spare two rooms available. Each rooms has a double bed, and basic furniture with study space. All rooms are average size, and rent will be £75 a week excluding bills but with the student run bill service everyone will be paying £85 a week including all pills with free wifi and television licence.

Big kitchen, living room and house has two bathrooms and three toilets.

2nd year literature students

Thank you for your help.

I was able to access the module handbooks from Moodle. I now have a lovely list of 25 books to start looking out for on eBay, car boots, charity shops or Amazon (if they aren't anywhere else). I understand the odd book or two may change from this year to next but the majority will be the same.

But I think the guy you might mean is Garry Darlington, if he was completely bald and wearing a Reaseheath t-shirt, it was definitely him :p Kev Palmer is also great with the birds, he specialises in them. he does most of the falconry and it was him who we had our falconry sessions with a couple of years back. Either of them would be able to help you.

Warrington Campus - What halls shall I choose?

If you want meals provided for you during the week (2 meals a day - term time only) then go for Newton Hall. I'm in there now, the only en-suite halls on campus too. But my rent this term was like £1,400 and that's a lot compared too the others. Sometimes, the food isn't the best either. I got it for the en-suite, wasn't too fussed about the food.

But yeah, as Ash said, other than semi catered and self catered, you get no choice.

I was told that they will be finished by the time the new students arrive in September. They have an en-suite bathroom with a basic oven as well, meaning that the communal kitchen will be slightly smaller.

We had difficultites finding enough housing this year, which is why we've got two new locations, but I've no idea on current intake ot anything else right now

Hi I know this was posted a while ago but I was just wondering how your nursing course is going? I have just been offered a place at Leighton Hospital starting Sept 2013. What is the Crewe campus like and Leighton hospital? Where are you placements? do you have to travel far, if I go to Crewe I will be living in Staffordshire and just need some sort of idea how far I'll have to travel for placements. Are you days long in Uni? Sorry to ask so many questions just trying to make the right decision for me and my family.

I received a Conditional place on Thursday at Chester, Riverside I'm so so so so happy! I fall in love with the place even more every time I go there I only had my interview last Thursday I was so nervous opening the email
