You can give it a try but they will give priority to first year students and since there are more first years students than on campus bedrooms it would be tight!

I've toured the facilities and they do have the technology and expensive equipment (and sports village) to live up to their climbing reputation. Although, like one lecturer pointed out, some lab rooms are a little old. Despite the clean and modern interior renovation, the ceiling was kinda low in one of the main labs. I think there was talk of better labs being built in the future, not sure how soon though.

My experience at Hertfordshire university was awful. I went there for an interview. The staff there were incredibly rude compared to the other universities i went to for an interview. My friend said that the staff at King's College London were more welcoming than Hertfordshire staff! You may find the GreenLine bus 797 Stevenage- Hatfield - London & return of use to you. This is both more frequent and goes into town a more direct way than the UNO 712 ; Arriva who run the service have special student deals - if I remember correctly last year they introduced both weekly and monthly ones for a lot less than the train. The down side of course, is that it isn`t so quick as the train- although I sometimes catch the 07.00 797 from Hatfield Business Park, and that usually has a fairly straight run through arriving at Victoria around 08.10- 08.30. So if you take into account time getting to the station first, then the underground the other end there probably is`nt much in it unless the bus gets stuck in traffic.

I don`t know which part of Hatfield you intend to start your journey, and where in London you want to go, but the 797 stops in the Business Park by T-Mobile (now E-E), opposite The Comet, Galleria, South Hatfield/ Bishops Rise, (two or three stops) before going straight down the A1 to Hendon, Finchley Rd., Swiss Cottage, Baker St, Marble Arch to Victoria stopping opposite to and just before the Coach Station in Buckingham Palace Rd. The same on the reverse journey.

It was really good and the teachers seemed really nice. There are labs and classes that are well equipped and big (well compared to mine) and they're all on one floor :D the areas quiet lol (I live in London) but I guess I'll get used to it :P

The College which I am currently attending right now is partnered with this Uni and basically if u ask anyone who's serious about getting their degree especially in Law, they would all say no to Herts Uni. Dont get me wrong, its an okay Uni, it's improving but the majority of people there are one of those wanna be "badmans" haha. I've put this uni as my one of my choices though just in case I dont get any offers from other unis I've applied for luckily i got all of my offers to study Law so im pretty much happy I'm not going to Herts. I've been to houseparties at Herts too because some of my friends goes to this Uni but they're doing nursing/film studies, I've had a great time partying with them though, met some lovely people. Also met some law students from this Uni, they're okay but if I were you if you have a better choice in terms of Uni to study law, I would go for it.. As far as I'm aware of Herts is only good for accounting/business course, not sure about the rest and especially not in Law.
