Well I'm on a gap year, so I practice clari and piano a lot (and guitar, but in a more fun, relaxed way rather than the proper classical way), and then (sorry to sound awfully cocky!) - I don't really practice cornet or viola at all. The beginner groups are pretty easy and I've done so much music before it's not really a challenge :P

I am thinking of studying Undergraduate Politics at University of Huddersfield. Actually I am transferring to the second year and have gotten a positive response from both Huddersfield and Keele University for the said course. However, I am not familiar with either and I don't live in UK, so can't visit them personally. So I have a lot of questions :confused:

How is the course at Huddersfield?
Is it really that nice to live there as the website suggests or are there setbacks?
What are the lecturers/facilities like for the course?
Does any one know how it compares with the course at Keele?

Also, any idea on the dates of the weeks we have to go up there? I know the first one is the last week of September but I'm not sure about the other two weeks? Just so I can organise things with employers and trains/hotels etc.

Thats ok, ask away :) I found it challenging but manageable, the workload is quite high but if you organise it then it works really well. It's structured in the same way as this one with self-directed learning. Each module has a discussion board where you post an initial answer each week for a different question (8 short questions), followed by 3-5 posts to classmates. And then each week there is a short assignment.
It wasn't a BPS accredited course, which is partially why I want to do this one (and because the modules look amazing). The Liverpool one was created by Laurence Alison, there is a book by him called The Forensic Psychologist casebook, which was ye course bible! Might be useful for this course too! :)
