It looks like you need to tone the brassiness out of your hair. The easiest way to do this is with a toner (such as http://www.beeunique.co.uk/index.php...ducts_id=23250 or http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stor...ductId=1262302) or a silver shampoo (such as http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Produ.../?id=273024387)

the only reason why dry shampoo isn't good for your hair (which no one really tells you these days) is that it blocks the pores in your scalp as it's so fine the powder clogs up those pores that need to remain open to absorb natural oils/conditioner/shampoo etc to maintain its health!!! ideally you should only be washing your hair twice a week - not every other day! otherwise your hair will look like straw/synthetic hair as it will produce so quickly and not even the good oils!

Also just thought I'd add that I love the hair mask from the same range! About once a week I put my hair in a pony tail and put the mask all over damp ends. Then I wind my hair into a bun, tie a sandwich bag over the bun and then sleep like that. When I wash my hair in the morning it's unbelievably soft.

Well how long is your hair right now exactly? Mine goes down to my butt so I'd have a mental break down if I had it cut short haha! Perhaps have it cut to chest length? :)

As a guy with reasonably long, curly, and arguably disheveled hair, I can honestly say I prefer long hair. No bias of course...

Yeah, I have known a few girls use the Lush Henna and it works very well, though do be warned, it is really strong and will ruin your clothes. However, it doesn't come off and stays in your hair for an insane length of time. The colour can come out auburn'ish, but because henna is somewhat slightly uneven in colouring hair, it looks completely natural and you can't tell it is dyed.

I've no idea about using colour before using henna though, so you might want to do some R&D into that just to check

no no, I think it's quite expensive, but i can understand why you did it the faff on it is for women to be keep constantly on top of it, I just hope that it does work out after 10 treatments and the amount you have payed :)
