Don't go to Warwick. Go to St. Andrews or Edinburgh. Out of all of them Warwick is the best academically, but St. Andrews is where you will have a life, and it's 30% Americans (Ivy rejects...) anyway.

I've visited both St. A's and Edinburgh and the vibe at St. A's is much much much better.

Warwick = Wannabe bankers/engineers
Glasgow = Communist
York = Sub-par version of Cambridge. Modern Uni trying to edge up the rankings - not worth it at the moment.

Hey everyone! I am a student in the USA and I applied to 5 different schools in the UK. They are University of Edinburgh, University of Warwick, University of Glasgow, University of York, and University of St. Andrews. I want to study Economics or Economics and Politics. I have been doing a lot of research on the Unis and I havent come up with an answer to which is the best academically, so, in your opinions, which one of them is the best?
