I appreciate that you don't insult me for my views, even if you don't agree with them.
I am not gay and I'm not homophobic either. You should be happy with what you have right now. You can be in a civil partnership which gives you almost the same rights. We can't let gays get married or else it will signal that homosexuality is as good or better than heterosexuality. Gay people are not discriminated against to a large degree. Heck, you can just hide your sexuality and then no one can discriminate against you.

i don't understand - I thought you said homosexuality is okay and yet you are implying I am gay. If there's nothing wrong with being gay, why are you using it as an insult?
You may hold the opinion that I am homophobic, but I really am not. I don't want to harm gays in any way. I am happy to keep the status quo on this issue.
