Hey Prince Rhyus,

I'm looking into getting on to the Fast Stream for the Diplomatic Service but didn't make it this year. I noticed on a really old post that you said there are more 'back door' ways into it. I noticed you said you were an AO and got in through that. Would you have any advice on getting an AO or AA job or other tips that could be useful to getting onto the Fast Stream or into the Diplomatic Service?

I just got accepted to the NI Faststream this year after the second attempt. So I am absolutely delighted to have passed given the tough competition.

If you have any general advice about what to expect when I start and tips for surviving upon it would be great! (or a referral to a previous post)

I recently took the FSAC and have passed central departments and am awaiting result for DS and HoC. I was just wondering, if I get through to FSB and am then unsuccessful, would I still have a job at Central Departments? Thanks.

Ubisoft tipped us off to a new Flash game they've made to promote Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. Now, it may just be that I've been playing a lot of Tomena Sanner lately but I think this is damn good.

Spanning six levels, it's a forced-scrolling platformer where the Prince runs from left to right and you have to jump obstacles. You can jump, wall climb, run across ceilings and attack with a sword. You can also rewind time when you kick it and do so as often as you wish, the idea being that the time it takes to complete the game is the actual challenge.

You can check out the game here. I do recommend it. A surprisingly fun diversion, this.
