Argh sorry this is so late..! Yes, I do like to go hiking and swimming in lakes in the summer, but I'm not a big fan of all the snow in the winter (it gets old when the first snow is in September and the last one is at the end of April).

Yeah, everyone was on edge for a while there; I was afraid the Waldo Park fire was going to burn down my favorite town in Colorado (Manitou Springs), but thankfully it's still intact.

Ah, excellent! I'm about 45 minutes south of north Denver and about an hour south of Evergreen. You're going to hate me for this, but I've only ever been skiing twice. Ah well...it won't be the first time I've been judged for it.

Yup, Colorado is home, but I'm leaving to attend graduate school at the University of Edinburgh in September (eeeek)! The wildfires are still burning, yes, but I'm pretty sure they're being contained little by little. I'm about 45 miles from the Waldo Park Fire, and for a few days there we were afraid high winds would mean we'd have to evacuate. All is well now, though.

So why were you in Colorado?
