Hello ,pls can I ask u another question:
I was doing this question from C3 on proving trig identities. So basically we has to prove that :
2cot 2x + tan x ≡ cot x
The mark scheme did it in this way:
http://www.school-portal.co.uk/Group...urceId=3992017
question 6a on there.
But I did it in this way (would this method be considered too thick or do you think it would work out ok?)
2* (1/tan2x) +tanx
then the (1/tan2x) is subbed with the reciprocal of its double angle formulae thing and then I took it forwards from there...do u think this would be ok?

Hello there, thank you very much for the message ! Just one more question to ask u -if both can be used, then why do we have to learn both ?

Hello there, just a question to ask u about .i would appreciate it if u could help..thank you very much...
For these integration by substitution and integration by parts, would they always state in the question (Edexcel board) which one it is that we have to use.
And in general is it just two different methods for arriving at the same answer or are they meant to be used in separate circumstances?
Becuase sometimes some of these 'by parts' one look to me like they could well have been done by sub method...help???
thanks in advance !

I like your comments in the thread on Page 3. You were completely spot-on that it's an issue of free choice.

hello, pls can you answer this question:
hello , i am always sort of losing marks in these sketching ln graph functions. I always have trouble identifying what the asymptote is correctly. For example, in this one ln(2+3x) I thought that the asymptote would be -2. But actual asymptote is -2/3. Any relaible method, to correctly find out asymptote for these ln functions? any step by step method/ rules?

Hey can you please help me with that maths question???
