There is a fairly large difference in price, and good choice! The iPhone is inferior to them.

It may also be useful to point out to you that HTC are making a far larger effort to update the One X than Samsung are making to update the S3, Samsung barely ever push updates, and HTC have already pushed several updates since its release in April. There is also a huge update coming to the One X soon, which will improve battery life and optimize everything more. Also, the One X uses a Nvidia tegra 3 chipset, which has the most developer support out of any mobile processor/gpu in the market. Games and apps are designed JUST for it, and you won't find that anywhere else, especially not in the S3.

Now for the price difference: You can grab a One X for £420 from Amazon, which will give you 32gb storage. (I just checked the updated price on there) whilst an S3 with half the storage, 16gb, will set you back £490. You can see that the s3 is overpriced here, especially considering the fact that it uses far cheaper materials and has two times less base storage. It's not as overpriced as the iPhone, though.
