You wrote weekly reviews for a tabloid paper? I must say, I'm impressed by you. This is unusual and probably stupid but I think I'll apply to both medical school and drama school - at this point, I don't see why not? Why limit my options? I'll either be spoilt for choice or have to take another gap year.

I'll have probably heard back from all the institutions I have applied to before I've graduated, so if no places were offered, I'll have time to plan what I want to do. I've always wanted to do some humanitarian work so I'd probably go to a developing country to volunteer and teach English/Drama/Art/Chemistry...? I've also wanted to learn how to drive so I'd also get that out of the way too.

You're still on your gap year right? What universities have you considered applying to? Have you picked a mish-mash of film, creative writing and literature courses?

I'm must say, I'm quite impressed! That's a commendable job role! I don't know the first thing about management. I'm currently at university (2nd year biochemistry student at Essex University). My gap year ended about a 1 and a 1/2 ago. I sort of figured you were into film and writing as you actively post reasonably descriptive posts in the 'Film Fanatic Society' threads. I'm not sure if I'm prepared to take another gap year, I would have to know whether a lot of awesome things are in store for me within that year.
