About me

Names Joe, before you enter my room there is a shelving unit to your left, on it are several enclosures containing tarantulas so if you're scared of spiders, don't look into them! Ahead we currently have a group of Macleay's spectre stick insects, this will probably change at some point. If one looks now to the top shelf on the shelving unit, one may spy a little green tree-fog, or half a dozen. They are Hyla chinensis. In the near future you will also find next to them, a wooden vivarium containing a small group of Stenodactylus sthenodactylus. If you're a biologist and are wondering why the species name as a h after the t, it isn't a typo, well it is, but it's from the original records when it was described, it wasn't picked up upon all that time ago and now isn't going to be changed.

So...about me...well I have quite long hair and I'm often mistaken for a girl by customers which can get annoying but is quite funny at the same time. I've also been told I am rather feminine in general...not looking good is it?

I like playing those computer games where you build a base and tanks and such and battle the computer opponents or other people online. Games like Command and Conquer(there's loads of them), supreme commander etc. I like futuristic ones, tanks with lasers, aliens etc not those civil war kind of ones, accurate history is boring.

Bar that I like photography quite a bit. I have a decent camera. It's not some amazing SLR one but it has this cool super macro mode where I can take great pictures of tiny flowers and bugs and an 18x zoom which takes pretty sharp images even with my shaky hands. By the way I am interested in quite a few invertebrates, hence me keeping tarantulas, scorpions, praying mantids, giant centipedes etc. I also have a group of tree frogs(Hyla chinensis) and I'm trying to source a group of Stenodactylus sthenodactylus. It's always the same, when you aren't after them, quite a few are around, when you're ready for them, they disappear

Academic Info

GCSE....Don't remember that well. I got two A* in science double award. Then around 3 As(history, geography...then the other was maths I think). Then a few B's(English language and lit which are separate GCSE's...and some other subjects, what ever you normally do at GCSE), then like one or two C's then one D(French....so surprised I got a D, proves you can get a D and know basically No French bar a few simple words)

A-levels...

In AS I got ABCC. A in biology, B history, C chem, C maths(which I dropped)

In the jan A2 exams I got A in bio, A in history but a D in chem(It's so hard for me...). I re-took the chem and it went a bit better, but then module 5 was terrible! Not looking forward to my chem result but oh well.

I ended up with B,C,D. Disappointed with the B in Bio, I don't get what happened tbh, C in history, would have preferred a B, not the end of the world, D in chem sucks, but to be fair by a little into A2 I was expecting it.

Interests

I kind of put this in the about me thing, didn't realise there was this bit too, it's like a damn job application form!

Cinemagraphy, which I just made up, and it means you have a Cineworld card and use it tons, especially Wednesdays because if you're on Orange and you take advantage of Orange Wednesdays, if someone has a cineworld unlimited card, they can get a second FREE ticket, made for sharing!

Also...one more thing.....sleepovers. I LOVE SLEEPOVERS! It's so fun when your all watching movies in pyjamas eating ice cream sundaes! By the way I have barely any male friends, go figure...girls FTW!(that's For the win, as in they're great, for those who are new to the internet and do not know the acronyms.)
