  1. Cheeers!
Yeah I start IOT (Initial Officer Training) in April, can't wait!

Any tips? Well, for OASC part 1 (aptitude test) I would try your best to get your mental arithmetic as perfect as possible. As although the maths questions aren't too hard, under the pressure/time constraints they become very hard! Aside from that though, the only other way to succeed in the aptitude test is to keep calm and concentrate, as most of the tests are designed to assess your natural ability rather than learnt abilities (if that makes sense?).

Most importantly though, no matter what stage of the application, just be yourself! There were plenty of candidates pretending to be something they weren't which the officers just saw straight through.

Also, I know it's hard to at the time, but try and enjoy it! I saw the aptitude test and everything in OASC part 2 as a game/challenge and really enjoyed it all!

    Good luck with everything!
  2. Hey,
Sorry for the very slow reply. Not been checking my messages!
OASC was really good cheers, apart from messing up on the individual planning, everything else seemed to go very well! I got accepted anyway, so must have gone pretty well!
What stage of the process are you in?
