Thanks.
Jesus prophesied that his followers would be persecuted. Being mocked is most definitely not as bad as being hurt or killed (like what the early Christians endured at the hands of the Romans) but I am learning to just look to Jesus.
Jesus is awesome!!! I do hope to be faithful in following him, though I am not perfect.

- ...despite 2012 years, how much have people changed? Not how much has the world changed, as that's easy to acknowledge with all our gadgets to comfort us. But how much has the human being changed? The way we think, the way we act, the things we do.
My answer is, very little, if nothing at all.
Therefore, despite all our creature comforts we still do the same things as back in Jesus's time, humans still kill, rape, commit sexual acts, people steal, people crave, as despite 2012 years + of history, what has some of these terrifying acts taught us?
Nothing.
So in Jesus's name, be good and act in Jesus's words, for he knew the right way. The Romans may of killed Him, but doesn't standing for something usually mean standing up against all the odds?
