Hi, I am a student from Singapore and trying to do my undergrad in mechanical engineering in England. So far, I am considering Sheffield or loughborough.
Sheffield seems like a decent uni to go to but lboro seems very good in their teaching and facilities.
Sheffield mech eng facilities are not so well shown on their website which got me thinking that if they have nothing much to show, they wouldn't show it right? Also, their placements during industrial placements doesn't have a huge variety compared to lboro.
my intentions are to do a placement year at a car manufacturer or company like Daimler or jaguar and hopefully, work there.

Hi, am an undergrad student from India. I do my 3rd year B.Tech in mechanical eng. After this I prefer to do my post graduation in auto. eng there in the UK. Could you pls tell me the top universities for auto. eng. there. I consulted with many sources; some say it is Loughborough, some Warwick, Coventry, Oxford Brookes etc. I'd like to get a clear idea about tthis. Hope you will help me.

Im 22, live in cheshire where i grew up, and am currently studying engineering at loughborough university where i live during term time. Lately I spend much of my spare time on our steam powered canal narrowboat, moving it around the country during summer with friends family. I also enjoy driving and working on my kitcar, as well as listening to music and mountain biking and sailing.- Academic Info
