  1. The thing is, like I said, if they've made a mistake and you CAN'T use the A*, they're not going to let you in just because it was worded slightly ambiguously...I would definitely check if I were you. They said to me something like "this year you only need to get A's in Biology and Chemistry, as you have already fulfilled the Mathematics part of the offer. Of course we still hope you will get an A in Further Maths, but it is not part of your offer".
Honestly, I would check. Either they say yes, you can include your Maths from last year, or they say no, and you have a few months to prepare for the other exams to get the A*s. Do you really want to pin your future university place on your tutor being "quite sure"?
  2. Oh if I were you, I'd still ask the admissions office...Better to find out what the real terms are NOW rather than when you get your results. If you don't get the A* this year, and don't get in, they're not going to let you in just because you misunderstood the offer. Best to check
  3. good to know I'm not the only one! Where is 'abroad' for you?
  4. Hey, you made a post saying "Not sure if my Maths A* from last year can count as it's being certificated this year and the offer specifies 'only subjects taken this year'. If anyone knows please PM me!" - I'm a 2nd year John's BioNatSci, and I had something similar in my offer letter...I emailed my tutor's secretary and they said that my Maths from the year before did count

Let me know if you need anything else! x
