  1. Mobb Deep - The Infamous and Hell On Earth are amazing albums. Their newer stuff is good too.
Prodigy of Mobb Deep has A LOT of good songs, just look up things on YT (Illuminati, With Out You (My World is Empty), Dirty New Yorker spring to mind for his solo songs.)
Havoc of Mobb Deep has a couple good songs (he's more of a producer imo) (Letter to P and Heart of the Grind).
Capone-N-Noreaga (C-N-N) have a good songs, I've recently started getting back into them, check out T.O.N.Y and L.A., L.A. - their debut album The War Report in general is good!
QBs Finest is a good collaboration album from a lot of the people that lived in the Queens Bridge Projects (C-N-N, Nas, Bravehearts, Mobb Deep and Infamous Mobb and some other artists/groups all feature on it - check out its Wikipedia page if you want to find out who else.)
Wu-Tang Clan - I like a lot of their albums, but I'm currently hooked on 8 diagrams. Campfire and Life Changes specifically.
Tupac - I don't have a favourite album, they're all fantastic! All Eyez On Me, The Don Killuminati: The Seven Day Theory are good albums, along with the posthumous album R U Still Down?. But, really, any album by him is an amazing piece of work.
Notorious B.I.G - Ready to Die was a really good album. Check that one out for sure.

Tell me if you want anymore. I think that should tide you over though. xD Hours of listening there! aha.
  2. Bursaries are available however they want evidence that you are trying to raise funds.

Remember, not only are you paying the course itself, you're paying for living (if you live far from where training takes place), transport, food and leisure etc.

I didn't apply for the bursary so I don't know how much is offered. It's best to call NYT and ask.

You'll be sent a couple letters and emails detailing what you'll be doing on the course. You'll also be sent dates and financial information.

No, you will not have to do a test, once you complete the summer course you'll become an official member. From there, you can apply to NYT's annual castings (there are also other castings and opportunities posted during the course of the year).

No, they don't expect a fully polished actor. All they want are enthusiastic and talented people. On the contrary, drama schools require work experience. To become a professional actor, drama school is pretty imperative. If you decide to apply for drama school after your law degree, NYT would be one of your acting experiences.

Members are split into set groups. Each group consists of a teacher and an assistant. Every teacher has their own way of teaching and so training may differ from group to group.

Generally, you will do a lot vocal and physical experiences. I did a lot of clown work, characterisation work and impov. I also did work based on the 'Stanislavski system'. You may also have people from companies coming over to do workshops with you. Honestly, there's just so much you do and the time really does fly. Just enjoy and treasure your experiences.

    Yes to the last question.
