Source to back that up? The only time the tri-star flag has been used was when Syria was a french mandate. Flying that flag suggests you want to go back to that era where the French pillaged Syria and the British pillaged Iraq. Another time was when Syria underwent a fake revolution in the 60s. The '11 revolution was legitimate until sectarian Islamists like Al Qaeda infiltrated it from neighbouring countries and the gulfi petromonarchies, who aren't democratic themselves in any way shape or form, started funnelling money & arms to these imbeciles.

Haha funny that, I think you'll find the only reasons they switched is because the red flag is more associated with the Assad regime, and the Assad supporters. SO who want that dirt? I support Palestine and I bloody well support the revolution against the Assad regime.
