Hi purplefrog, it's 'MoshyMoshyMo' - the guy who moaned at you about the BMAT back in November. This is my new account, and I know you don't normally do this - but should I just give up all hope on getting into UCL? UCL haven't invited me to interview yet, and they say that the interview season terminates on March 8. Seeing as they give you 2 weeks notice, is that it? I flunked the BMAT: 3.8, 5.2, 4.5A but my AS: 4As and GCSE: 11A* and PS are all pretty good - so please tell me your thoughts?

Hey Purple could you tell me if UCL care a great deal about the quality and quantity of extra curricular activities that you do, or are they more concerned with what you gain and learn from them. Thank you!

Hey just had a quick question, does UCL have a post offer open day?

I skipped the cytokines/interleukins because clinically they're not as important to know literally what they do. It's much better to appreciate the immune systems functions as a whole to relate it to all the diseases that have an immunological basis. I assume that's what you mean by molecular? But yeah trust all the schools do talk quite a bit about molecular immunology

Hey man. Just wanted to ask- you mentioned that interview performance is the sole indicator for an offer once you get to that stage. UCL have asked for references... do these also play a big part in the decision in addittion to the interview?

Hey, I was just wondering what exams were like at UCL med school, because they sound quite difficult, and all clustered at the end of the year.. Are they significantly more difficult to pass than at other UK medical schools? I don't like the idea of failing one, and having to retake the year's exams again.. Do you know anyone who's done that?
