heya! thanks for your lovely input over at the thread i started. i do have a couple of questions, though. what do you plan on doing after you graduate? which university do you attend? (if you don't mind me asking). and how has the entire experience been like for you?

Ah dam the only way to get a Canadian passport is to gain immigration then i think you have to live there for 5-10 years to become a citizen. Im hoping to do some work experience in Canada if I make into medical school to see what its like and maybe undertake a placement so that they know I am somewhat serious. Do you get a choice of where you want to work, like id want to work in the Toronto area since thats where id like to live as my family are down there. I heard the USA is even harder to get into than Canada and if you specialise here the chances of doing the same post over in the US is slim, so i assumed Canada was the same :/

Hey magic I really need your help. Im a UK citizan but a lot of my family lives in Canada in the Toronto area, I love visiting them and I possibly want to move to Canada when Im older. I am hoping to apply to medical school 2013 entry but Im wondering is it possible to become a Doctor over in Canada even if you have graduated here. What will you do? are you going back to Canada when you graduate or are you completing your post graduate training here then going back.

A hopeful medic for 2013 entry here! I saw your post on your blog about the recent exams at Sheffield and I just wanted to ask, does that kind of thing happen a lot? (Congrats on passing btw I mean, I was just really quite shocked that they intentionally failed so many people even after giving them the exam under such unfair conditions. Will those who failed be allowed to resit?

Any ideas on how long it takes for SSC results to be published? And would you happen to have any advice on the Drug advertisement SSC?

Erm.. You'll have seen us freshers making out on the balcony of Embrace, stripping in the VIP area, flash mobbing people on the dance floor and more making out in various areas. Embrace ended at 4am, went back to Ranmoor and we partied again till 6am Most of us were hammered haha. Had to get a few pictures removed off FB before anyone else saw them

The ball was alright... Glad I took what you said about the food into account and ate beforehand. Pretty standard, plenty of camwhoring. And our Medsoc president really isn't too engaging a speaker... Oh and someone opened a bottle of champagne with a sword which was really cool

The afterparty, on the other hand, was simply amazing VIP at Embrace!!! Loved every bit of that which I could remember
