I'm pretty good as well
No I haven't actually, I haven't seen hardly any episodes this week so I'm just catching up on 4od right now
-
You only just realised that?
Sorry for not replying for ages, haven't really had time for TSR lately.
How have you been?

I should be in London next week, so I think I'll go in and shout at them personally But thanks a lot. I've found some places that look good, and sent a couple of emails, and I'm going to ring people at a more sociable time tomorrow. Hopefully I'll end up somewhere
Oh good! I mean, I was hoping not to fail miserable, but it's good to know that it doesn't really matter too much

You are an absolute star - I'd requested a password, but it wasn't through yet! Having a nice browse now and planning to contact people UCL do know that I'm autistic, and considering my DSA specifies that I should have an en-suite (which I won't get now) I think this is shabby on their part, really. But thanks a tonne
I'm glad to know that the test means nothing - I think one of the big freshers' club nights is the night before

I looked on the UoL intercollegiate halls website, but apparently you have to apply through your uni until the 8th September or something? This is all so much harder given that I'm autistic The plan is basically to ring up the UCL accommodation people, but I can't get through. They look insanely expensive (like £180 a week!) but I guess I could get a job.
The languages information is very useful, thanks a lot Is the preliminary maths test they give you in freshers' week hard?

I believe you PMd me about this a while ago, and I'm happy about the course itself I am, however, in a mess with accommodation.
I haven't got a place in halls, so I'm looking for lets. I'm trying to get as close to UCL as I can, but the house I'm looking at is 4 stops away. That's doable financially, but I'm worried that it'll make it harder to make friends, because people won't spontaneously pop round in the same way they would in halls Do you know anyone else who was in a similar predicament and didn't end up feeling isolated?
Also, do you know how many hours a week you do for the languages? I got my maths timetable and it's 13 contact hours a week, so I'm hoping not to have too much more Do you know if the self-access service will let you access any resources you want, or just ones specific to your language(s)? I was hoping to casually look at some of their other resources, to avoid paying for nightclasses...
Thanks a lot (Hope the degree's going well!)
