There's nothing wrong with that as a motivator whatsoever
Hahah oh dear. I'm sure you'll be fine, do you have a lot of problem sheets and stuff to do? I'm currently failing at my reading list

I think I was disappointed. I'm such a nerd.
Haha, urgh maths how have you been keeping up with it in your gap year? Sorry if this is an exceedingly naive question.
I am really looking forward to it, all my friends have left already so the sooner I escape home and the company of only history books, the better!

Don't you hate English Lit for ruining a 11 A* GCSE run?
Sorry. It's been 2 years and I'm still bitter.
Your IB score is amazing though, excited for Oxford? (pointless question I know )

I'd do more research and before choosing the college then. So I should look up for each college's website I suppose. However, the formal hall does sound fun because I love to suit it up
I have cousins who have your last name btw (Ellis Island altered version.) I love them but they need to stop finding the afikoman before I find it

First, thanks for replying.
I really could care less about the building honestly - I care more about the mix of people. I don't know if you can generalize the mix of people of a certain college, but I'd love to be in a less traditional place with more open minded people if that's possible. If only I could just visit and experience it myself, but unfortunately I wouldn't be able to do so
As for an interview, is it absolutely a requirement? If someone got invited to the interview, does he have to come there or could he just do the interview via skype/phone? I guess I should just ask international students who applied there
Oh you added me on Facebook right?

Hi there
So, I just had an epiphany sort of at the beginning of my gap year - that is study Law at Oxford. I know I can make an open application regarding the college choice, but I'm thinking of playing my strengths and choose a college that will look favorably upon my gap year, work experiences, volunteering experiences, and such. If you could give me advice about choosing a college, personal statements, and such that'd be amazing and I'd appreciate it so much!
Cheers!! xx
