I dont' mind TSR, was fun at the time, but I find it a bit pointless now. You tend to be offering your opinion to people who neither know you are care about your view. Hence why I gave it up.

I just find being told what to do at home really irritating and there aren't many people around; but there we go.

I'm pretty good. Uni is great, just the being home part that's dull though at least i'm pretty busy. Just thought i'd say hello.

I suppose it depends on the demographic of the area the hospital's in; we had a lot of patients who only spoke Bengali.
I know what you mean, but unfortunately part-time is the only way to fit work around studies :/
Grrrr TLC makes me so mad. Also pretty much all of the analytical labs. We had one lab where we were doing a titration and the entire lab group got an average titre that was about the same and we were told we were all wrong. What are the chances of that?
Actually, I don't really like labs generally!

That is true, a few of our nurses were Russian though so they translated plus we didn't get Russian patients that often.
Oh god, is it really that bad? Organic labs are the bane of my existence...
Well fingers crossed I'll actually get to grips with the work at the start rather than when it's all built up a few weeks before exams and I still don't understand it!

I was a HCA (during my gap yah).
In my time working there I recall seeing 1 interpreter (granted a lot of the time family members/staff were able to translate for stuff like consent forms).
How is 2nd year? From the modules list it seems like there's a lot more modules. Joy!
