Eh, most research assistant jobs are more lab-based than what I want (something Psychology-y)...I could've done some actual experimenty things in Psychology labs, but I just didn't get my act sorted out...

It was my fault really, I left it too late to start thinking about it so missed loads of deadlines :/
Yeah still technically employed at Boots, but they don't think they'll have many spare shifts. I just want some unpaid work experience now - I'm going to write a load of begging letters to ask to do some shadowing or something menial like data entry!

Ah, logical...having May Day in May...our May Week is after our exams, in June!

- I'm from Scotland, but now I live and study in England. I'm an ok person I guess :P I'm addicted to coffee, but unfortunately it doesn't help keep me alert or even awake, I just love the taste. I currently spend most of my times watching films dubbed into German and reading in said language (owing to being intimidated by the number of already fluent Germanists at Oxford in my year...).
If you have any questions about applying to Oxford (or my college, St. Hilda's, which YES I did apply directly to (some people genuinely do this)), just tip me a PM or summat.

- GCSE results: 5 A*s, 2 As and 3 Bs
A-Level results: AAA
AS-level result: C (Yup, a C)
University/Course: Oxford/German (& linguistics now- changed after my first year)
If anyone's wondering: I went from ABCC at AS level to AAA by the end of A2. If you work your arse off, you CAN do it, so go on, give it a try
